Fees for training are $500 per month. This includes 25 - 30 hours of training per week. More time may be involved when traveling with the company on tour. Training

Performance opportunities are available throughout the year at venues such as churches, nursing homes, schools, and other outreach. Performance opportunities are made available at the discretion of the directors and may include performing on tour with Soli Deo Gloria Ballet. Transition to touring
Students have opportunity to accompany Soli Deo Gloria Ballet on tour during the year. This is by invitation only and is a crucial part of training. On tour, students will learn what it takes to set up and prepare for a performance. This will include aspects such as stage makeup, costuming, props, backdrops, special stage effects, and cooperation! Please refer to the touring handbook as preparation for a tour as it covers details such as accommodation, meals, dress code, and code of conduct. Time commitment
Regular time commitment is 25 - 30 hours per week. At times, this will vary depending on company touring schedules. Students will have opportunity to join the company on tour as part of their training. Exam opportunities
Ballet classes are a mandatory part of everyday training. The Royal Academy of Dance method is used and examinations are available through this awarding body. Exams are made available at the discretion of the directors. Transportation
Students are responsible for their own transportation. Public transit is limited in this area and it is advisable for students to have their own car. Jobs and Further Education
Training with Soli Deo Gloria Ballet requires 25 - 30 hours per week when not on tour. Students are welcome to have jobs in the area, as a means of supporting themselves. When looking for a job, please bear in mind that your class and performance schedule is changeable and a job with flexible hours is a must. Scholarships

When at the studio, we encourage students to dress modestly and appropriately. Dress code for class is as follows: All ballet, pointe, variation, and repertoire classes require the following:
