Read our latest email below about the February 2010 Vancouver trip!
To all our partners in prayer: Grace and peace to you from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ!
We're writing this time with a special praise, prayer request, and practical request all in one :). We have been accepted to travel to Vancouver during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and perform alongside many Christian artists from all over the world as part of a special evangelistic/artistic initiative put on by More Than Gold. Rachel and Carolyn will be flying out on February 10 and staying until February 22. We will be performing Street Lullaby, a 20-minute production mingling poetry and dance that we wrote for the James St. Night of Art Festival in St. Catharines last September, as well as other original pieces (which we're currently putting together).
We'll be performing for mostly secular audiences, so we ask for your prayers that God would be glorified and lives would be reached, not only through our efforts, but through all of the More Than Gold artists. This is also a great networking opportunity for us as we meet and work with artists and Christians from all over Canada and the world. Please pray with us that we will truly connect with those God puts in our path.
And of course, please pray for our health and safety as we travel.
Finally, we expect this trip to cost us about $2500 in flights, lodging, food, and performance fees. If you would like to contribute anything toward sending us to Vancouver, you can donate by using the "Donate" button on our Web site (on this page -- scroll down a little bit!) or, of course, by sending a cheque.

Helping Soli Deo Gloria Ballet can be done in a variety of ways. Of course, donations are always very appreciated! We have a lot of expenses that need to be covered such as travel and costumes. You can donate to the company through the Paypal button below.
Practical Help
You can also help in a multitude of practical ways. Can you sew costumes for us? Maybe you have a keyboard sitting around not doing anything and you'd like to donate it or lend it for a tour. You can also use your gifts to help -- we use photography and videos to promote our company.
We're also always looking for professional level dancers to join us for future tours. If you dance or you know someone who might be interested, check out our audition page and be in touch!
