Here With Us – now taking bookings for Christmas 2013!
The miracle of Christmas can perhaps be summed up in the name “Emmanuel”: God with us. And from the very beginning, the presence of Jesus Christ in the world has called forth varied responses from those who encounter Him: from the surrender of Mary to the heartfelt worship of Mary of Bethany, from the lifelong discipleship of the Twelve to the rejection of the ruling establishment of His day.
This Christmas, Soli Deo Gloria Ballet’s brand-new production Here with Us celebrates the miracle of God’s gift of His Son and sounds the call to respond in wholehearted worship. SDG Ballet’s unique mix of classical ballet, stirring narrative, live music, and contemporary songs from artists like Joy Williams, Francesca Battistelli, and Misty Edwards presents the Christmas story as you’ve never seen it before, going beyond the events of two thousand years ago to their implications for today.
Here with Us is a small-scale ballet, 60 minutes in length. We are now taking bookings for the 2013 Christmas season: November 22 – December 22, 2013
